As a professional wedding photographer, I always recommend that my brides & grooms hire a wedding coordinator to help their big day go as smoothly as possible, as they definitely help keep everything in order from timelines, to vendors, etc. Working with Deborah this past weekend at a recent wedding only solidifies the importance of working with someone with great organizational skills, diplomacy, and most importantly, someone who is easy to get along with and has a terrific, easy going personality (which helps to keep the most stressed out of brides and everyone else around, CALM!). Debbie's professionalism, helpfulness, and personality helped to make the wedding we worked together as fun and as organized as possible! Without her, the day would have been so much more challenging for myself, and made for a more difficult day. If you're looking for someone to hand the reigns off to so you can enjoy your big day, I definitely recommend Deborah and her team to make it happen :)

We have so much to thank Deborah for! She was our day-of coordinator for our wedding Sept 15, 2012. 

We had a few vendors that were difficult to work with (hindsight 20/20), but she did not let on to it as the whole night went smoothly. And even though I gave specific instructions to both the bakery and florist to remember to decorate the cake, in the end it was Debbie who stepped up and decorated a beautiful cake for us with flowers she pulled from a pew arrangement. Yes, the florist forgot to bring the cake flowers we paid for. :( All I can say is thank god Deborah was there! She checked in on us throughout the night and made sure we were doing ok. And before the big day she was very easy to contact, replied to every question and concern in a timely manner. We are very pleased with the outcome and "thank you" just isnt enough to express how much her hard work meant to us!

Deborah Lew was our wedding coordinator for our wedding at Braemar Country Club on July 27, 2012.  

She was absolutely amazing…from our initial meeting to end of the reception.  Deborah is more than willing to meet/talk you at any point before the wedding day.  She is on time at every meeting too (actually she’s early). Anything you need done…she’s got it covered.  What we liked too is that she also offered ideas and advice on making the night even better!  During the wedding she is on top of everything as well.  The bride and groom don’t have to worry about a thing…other than having fun!  We honestly couldn’t be happier with her.  She has our highest recommendation.

Chris and I couldn't have asked for more in a wedding day coordinator! Deborah did exactly what we asked by helping our photographers take our formal shots in a time efficient manner, giving them suggestions on locations and poses. During the reception, she made sure everything ran smoothly, without us ever wondering or worrying. Deborah noticed that our florist had forgotten to decorate the cake, and that I did not order a toss bouquet, and took it upon herself to somehow create a last-minute bouquet and cover our cake with petals - I was very grateful! It was a hot July day, and my mother said Deborah was watching the cake 'like a hawk' to make sure it didn't melt or topple over!" Just another example of how she pays attention to detail and takes her job seriously. What I like the most about Deborah is that she can be firm with vendors (if need be) to make sure everything turns out perfect, yet during the reception she is not imposing, gently forwarns when it's time for events such as cake-cutting, and checks to make sure you are okay. We recommend Deborah to anyone in need of a planner or day-of coordinator!
